Frank Petrone III - director of operations

Frank’s passion for flying started at a young age. His father flew in WWII and later flew for the Rhode Island Air National Guard until the late 50’s. In 1980, Frank headed to Daytona Beach, FL to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. While in Central Florida, Frank’s first job was working the “line” at Daytona Beach Aviation, later getting his first flying job with American Banner Aerial Advertising; towing banners up and down the beach in C-150’s. After several ferrying jobs Frank’s next stop in the 80’s was flying Metro-liners in Raleigh, NC. After flying several different aircraft for American Eagle, Frank was fortunate to get hired flying for American Airlines. His first position at American was as Flight Engineer on the Boeing 727. It was an opportunity to look like the smartest kid on the jet. For the next 7 years, Frank flew the “old school” Airbus A-300, a true joy to fly. The next 12 years were spent on the combined fleet of the Boeing 757 and 767, which allowed him to fly into some of the most challenging airports in Central and South America. Frank’s final 7 years of flying were spent on the Airbus A-320 fleet. During his time with American, Frank was based in JFK, LAX, and MIA; Miami being the longest period. Being allowed to fly eastbound out of JFK, westbound out of LAX. and Southbound from MIA gave him exposure to the many different challenges aviators can face. Throughout the years, Frank served on multiple pilot union committees such as Communications and Professional Standards. He held the position as Check Airmen early in his career and lectured in the classroom on CRM and Threat Error Management. In his position as Integra Jet’s Director of Operation, Frank will employ his many years of experience to continue to deliver the finest service to our customers based on honesty and integrity.
